About

Gabrielle Robinson is a photographer, born and raised in New York City. She has four years of experience working in various art forms including printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, basic drawing, graphic design, acrylic painting and photography.

Gabrielle has learned that although the environment may change and materials may be limited, one must think outside of the box to really create an exceptional set of portraits. Her favorite types of photography include portraits, landscapes and especially nightscapes. Every photo she takes has an eerie vibe and provocative composition that causes the viewer to question the scene even though it is pristine and untouched. She explores our world at night and finds strange angles in compositions to create surreal environments in each new photograph. Her photographs are taken with the intent to show people her vision of our earth and its beauty. She hopes that her viewers can begin to not only see the world through her lens, but to hear, touch and smell it as well. Gabrielle has always wanted to be a photographer but was uneasy to begin to pursue her dreams. She has had her photographs exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at the Celestron Telescopes Head Quarters, Drexel University, Industry City in Brooklyn, NY,   in the Tweed Courthouse, and gifted a photograph to comedienne Sarah Silverman on behalf of Arts Connection.

She has been hired for events, headshot and engagement sessions because of the ways that she captures the personalities of her clients. Gabrielle’s previous experiences coupled with extensive classwork at the International Center of Photography, and personal endeavors have provided her with an excellent foundation and valuable experience in working in any environment.
